Scope and attribution

FlickRoute publishes factual movie details, country-specific availability guides and practical streaming explainers. FlickRoute Data Desk is an organizational attribution for our automated publishing process. It does not imply an individual journalist, firsthand film viewing or human approval of each update. Automation helps us refresh structured observations; it is not a substitute for original criticism.

What can publish automatically

Availability guides must identify the film, year, country, source and observation time, and contain a usable reported offer. The system checks required evidence, freshness and duplication before publishing. Missing or insufficient evidence is a reason to withhold a new guide rather than invent availability. Existing information may be retained through a failed refresh with its previous observation time visible.

Demand signals help prioritize relevant questions. A popular query alone is not sufficient evidence for a factual answer. We do not treat a provider’s popular-film chart as a measurement of Google search trends, or a national keyword estimate as worldwide demand.

What needs a different editorial process

Personal recommendations, “best” rankings, reviews, ending interpretations and claims of firsthand testing need evidence and original editorial judgment appropriate to those claims. The automatic availability workflow must not invent those experiences. Unconfirmed release dates, cast details, subscription eligibility or prices must remain unconfirmed. We do not expand a short fact into repetitive text to meet an arbitrary word target.

Sources, offers and ratings

Movie of the Night supplies structured film and streaming observations. Guides link to sources and, where available, a provider’s title or offer page. Streaming rights, account plans and prices can change between checks. Always confirm the selected country, film edition and final terms directly with the provider before paying.

External ratings are labelled with their source and scale. They are not scores created by FlickRoute. We do not invent user votes, present an imported rating as our own review, or add hidden claims to structured data that readers cannot see.

Publication dates and updates

“Published” means the article first became available on FlickRoute. “Updated” means its substantive content changed. “Availability checked” identifies a data observation and can change even when the article’s core answer has not. We preserve these distinctions rather than changing publication dates to make unchanged articles appear new. An unsuccessful provider check is not a new confirmation.

Corrections and feedback

Report errors through our contact page. Include the affected URL, film title and year, country, the disputed detail and a current primary source when possible. We assess reports against the available evidence and correct, qualify or withdraw information as appropriate. A provider’s account-specific billing dispute must be handled by that provider.

Substantive corrections should explain the changed fact in the article. Routine changes in catalogue availability are ongoing updates, not evidence that the earlier dated observation was fabricated. We do not promise a particular reply time or that every requested change will be adopted.

Commercial transparency

We currently do not run advertising scripts or paid placement in the website interface. If we introduce sponsored content or compensated offer links, the relationship must be clearly disclosed where readers encounter it. Provider attribution and source links do not by themselves mean that the provider endorses FlickRoute.
