Preferences saved on this device
FlickRoute uses your browser’s local storage for two features: flickroute-country remembers the selected country, and flickroute-watchlist stores identifiers for films you save. These values stay in that browser profile and are not an account-synced watchlist. Other people using the same profile may be able to see them.
Remove saved films with their bookmark buttons. To reset all saved preferences, clear this site’s data through your browser’s privacy settings. Clearing data, switching browsers or using another device can remove or separate your watchlist. Blocking local storage may prevent these preferences from working.
Requests to the website
Loading pages and requesting movie data sends information needed to serve the request, such as the requested URL, country or search parameters, IP address and ordinary browser and device headers, to the hosting infrastructure. Our application does not send the local watchlist to a separate watchlist account. The film pages and searches you open can still be reflected in the URLs you request.
The server retrieves movie information and keyword research from external API providers. Scheduled research sends movie-related keyword queries to DataForSEO; it does not require your private streaming-account password. We keep API credentials on the server, not in the public interface. Do not submit streaming passwords, payment details, authentication codes or other secrets to our contact email.
Hosting, images and external links
FlickRoute is served from a privately managed web server. The server and its hosting infrastructure process the technical request data needed to deliver pages, maintain security and diagnose errors. You do not need a reader account to browse the public website, and FlickRoute does not provide a separate reader registration system.
Posters and other images may load from third-party image hosts, which receive the technical information involved in fetching those images. Opening a provider, source or other external link takes you to a service governed by its own privacy and account terms. FlickRoute does not control those services.
Analytics, advertising and messages
We have not added analytics trackers, advertising scripts or a marketing email signup to the application. This does not mean that the hosting platform or an external site processes no technical data. If these features change, this notice should be updated to describe the new processing and any relevant choices.
If you email us, your email service and ours process the message. The project receives your address, message and any attachments you choose to send for handling that enquiry. Avoid unnecessary personal information. We have not published a fixed retention period for technical platform logs or correspondence; do not treat this notice as a promise that those records are deleted on a particular schedule.
